This set is new old stock, or barely used at all.
Ive picked pieces (not in this listing) of this pattern up from an antique mall and when I got this set I intended on keeping it (these came from a local store in business for 25+ years, owner was liquidating). When this set was out with those other pieces I had picked up from the antique mall I noticed the edges of those pieces I had picked up were discolored, yellow against the edges of these pieces which were bright white. The plates show minimal scratches and when compared to those I picked up at the antique mall really look like this is new old stock.
Great for a collector.
